War Memorials



Hernhill Churchyard

In the Churchyard of the St Michaels, Hernhill, there are three Commonwealth War Graves, two from the First World War, and one from the second. There are also two other memorials to soldiers from the First World War - one isan inscription for Wilfred Haslam, added to his father’s memorial stone, and the other is the grave of Sidney James Packman, who had served in the Royal Garrison Artillery.
