Paul Wright was the son of Lt Col Ernest Leonard Wright and of Marguerite St Pierre Wright (nee Chavasse), of The Old Vicarage, Dunkirk.

Paul’s brother Erskine Peter also died in service. Remembered with honour at Runnymede Memorial and at the War Memorial at Dunkirk.
